Creating 3D Assets implies the realization of custom 3D models designed for intentional use in animations, marketing projects, video games, architecture and other segments.

Although 3D models can look pretty detailed, the same model without texture and is not overly realistic. The process of adding textures to the pattern is referred to as “texture mapping”. These are actually 2D images that are assigned to a particular 3D model segment. As the 3D model has coordinates (XYZ) through which 3D space moves, so 2D texture has its own coordinates (UV coordinates) that determine which part of the model’s surface is set to texture.

The type of texture is overridden so that the model is assigned a shader / material that has different properties such as diffuse texture, bump texture, normal maps, displacement texture, noise texture, etc.
